Learn more about one of the Norwegian breeds at EDS2015

Welcome to the international conformation judges’ seminar on the Norwegian Lundehund breed, hosted by Norwegian Lundehund Club and the Norwegian Kennel Club.

When: Thursday 3 September 12:00 - 4:00 pm

Where: Lillestrøm Arena Hotell, next to the EDS 2015 show venue

The seminar will be held by Christen Lang, who has judged the breed at home and abroad since 1975 and has also bred numerous Norwegian Lundehund and Shiba champions under his Enerhaugen affix.

Mr. Lang will explain the standard in detail, demonstrating faults and virtues in a number of dogs selected for the purpose. Particular attention will be paid to the breed's original function as a puffin hunter, as well as its anatomical peculiarities:

  • flexibility
  • movement
  • extra digits
  • bite

The seminar will be conducted in English. Breed compendiums will be made available at the seminar in English, German, French and Norwegian.

Please register by e-mailing leder@lundehund.no by 10 August 2015.

The seminar is free of charge. Refreshments will be available.

Norwegian Lundehund Club and the Norwegian Kennel Club look forward to welcoming you to this seminar!
